Throughout this one-day workshop, students will be introduced to the delicate medium of watercolour, completing a series of beautiful studies that will provide a thorough understanding of materials, techniques and composition.
Award-winning artist Pilar de la Torre has been honing her artistic skills ever since winning the Thea Proctor Scholarship at Julian Ashton Art School Sydney. Her passion for art has led her to travel and study in Italy, France and Russia, and has also resulted in several awards including the Tom Robert’s Prize for a non-landscape. Pilar’s personal philosophy of ‘constant and never ending improvement’ has exposed her to many schools of thought with regards to drawing and painting, which she continues to share in her classes in an environment that is welcoming, unique and supportive.
