Elsie Preston is a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honors) student with a deep interest in drawing processes both classical and contemporary.
This course is open to beginner adult students who are interested in advancing their technical drawing skills and becoming fluent and confident drawers.
Within this course, participants will refine their drawing skills and learn how to build a repertoire of methods to articulately compose balanced and proportionate figure drawings. This course is available for students aged 16+.
In this course students will be invited to challenge themselves by exploring a variety of drawing mediums while copying from a range of sources including Master Drawings, photographic images and live set ups.
At the Melbourne Studio of Art we strive to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment for our staff and patrons and always have the best interest of our customers in mind. On return to the studio, we will be strictly following COVID guidelines including limiting capacity and frequently disinfecting our studio spaces. This means that we will only be accepting enrolments from fully vaccinated individuals during this time. Students who wish to attend in studio classes require to be fully vaccinated at the time of their scheduled class.
