This one-day workshop will introduce basic oil painting techniques, and will guide students step-by-step through the process of observing a nude life model to create an articulate painting of the human figure.
Ignacio Rojas was born in Chile, and migrated to Australia in 2001. With over 30 group and solo shows under his belt and a double degree in Fine Arts and Sociology, Ignacio’s chief artistic interests focus on Ala Prima (single attempt or wet on wet) painting. Ignacio’s passion for painting and teaching make his classes dynamic and productive, and you will leave the session armed with a range of new processes and techniques.
