Over the course of this one-day workshop, students will be introduced to drypoint printmaking through experimenting with different mark making and printing techniques. Students are encouraged to bring along their own drawings or photographs to use as a reference image in the process of learning how to transfer a drawing, prepare a plate, and print a small edition. Drypoints can be developed as an exciting extension to other art practices, with this class designed for both beginner students and developing artists looking to explore a fresh medium.
